SRINAGAR: An FIR was registered against Jammu and Kashmir separatist leader Asiya Andrabi for unfurling the Pakistani national flag on March 23 in Srinagar. She was booked under the ‘Unlawful Activities Prevention Act’.

“A case has been registered against Andrabi at Nowhatta Police station under Section 13 of the act,” a police officer said.

The fearless Asiya is the chief of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, a women’s wing associated with the Hurriyat. She allegedly sang the Pakistan national anthem as well after unfurling the flag.

I think they feel suffocated with too much freedom. Hence attachment for Pak where religious, terrorist grip/code prevails over individual freedom.Recommend

    “Proud of you sister !!!!”

    Sister ????????

About 10 years ago, her husband appeared on Indian TV channels and complained to the media that he is having problems with her because she has been pestering and forcing him to marry more woman and have more wives !!!!!

These are the types of woman who will be recruiting girls, not just in India but also in Pakistan to serve as sex slaves of IS terrorists.

If I recall correct, she and one of her relative were under arrest in Pakistan.Recommend

Please correct your reporting. Kashmiris are not separatists as they never opt for India. Kashmiris are occupied forcefully by India. India failed the Kashmiri people by betraying from its international commitment to hold a free and fair plebiscite as demanded by the UN resolutions. India is morally bankrupt and also on the wrong side of history. Aggressors are always defeated so shall India. Kashmir is a nuclear flashpoint as said by former US president Clinton at the UN general assembly podium. Kashmiri will eventually cause death to India’s Brahman imperialism. Recommend

I think the Kashmir dispute should never be resolved. It will give a headache to India time and again, and to be honest Pakistan doesn’t need another FATA. So its a win-win.Recommend
