Islamic State (IS) militants have released yet another brutal video a thief's hand being severed with a giant blade.

The horrific scene took place in the Tigris River area of Iraq after a cleric read out charges against the man.

The accused man, who look like he in his 30, appears to hide his face in his shoulder as his hand is tightened with a vice.

The video begins with an announcement by Wilayat Diglah, a branch of the terror group operating in the area, while the terror outfit’s flag can be clearly seen in the footage.
