In his message, the Chinese leader said, “I would like to extend, on behalf of the Chinese government and people as well as in my own name, warm congratulations and good wishes to the Pakistani government and people.”
Highlighting the bilateral ties between the two countries, he said that China and Pakistan were good neighbours, close friends, trusted partners and dear brothers.
“Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries have set up all-weather friendship and carried out all-round cooperation,” the Chinese leader said in his message.
Similarly, Premier Li Keqiang said that “China-Pakistan relationship has withstood the test of time and become a model of harmonious coexistence and friendly cooperation among different countries.”
The premier also expressed the will to work along with Islamabad to push forward the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and promote the China-Pakistan strategic cooperative partnership.
