Quetta operation: Suspect allegedly killed in custody
Police gave only sketchy information about the incident and avoided details.
QUETTA:
A suspect was allegedly killed and eight were arrested during a joint operation by security forces and police in Quetta’s Satellite Town the other day. The relatives of 30-year-old Mohammed Murad took out a procession along with the body to protest against what they called killing an innocent man in fake encounter. Police gave only sketchy information about the incident and avoided details. According to a police official nine suspects were arrested during door-to-door search and one of them was brought injured to CMH Quetta where he succumbed to his injuries. Murad’s body was handed over to his brother after legal formalities.
