Domestic torture case goes unnoticed

FAISALABAD: A tale of domestic horror surfaced in Faisalabad on Friday as Muneera Bibi became a target of violence when her father-in-law allegedly cut off her nose and ears during a scuffle.

One of Muneera's legs was also got fractured during the clash. Muneera was rushed to the DHQ Hospital Faisalabad where doctors declared it impossible to carry out a surgery.

No complaint has been registered against the family till now.

Syed A. Mateen | 14 years ago | Reply It is unfortunate that in Pakistan there are number of similar cases which go unnoticed. No one has the right to torture. Muneera’s father-in-law should be taken into police custody and prosecuted according to the law.
