“Four years on, his (Bhatti’s) murderers are still at large,” she said, while addressing an event organised by the party’s minority wing to honour Bhatti at the the Karachi Press Club.
Bhatti was gunned down on March 2, 2011, by unknown armed assailants in Islamabad. He was the only Christian member of the then central Cabinet.
Rehman, who has also served as an ambassador to United States, added, “We will not rest until terrorism is eliminated.”
Concluding her short speech, the former federal minister said her party wanted to strengthen democracy.
