Ehtesab court: Government appoints first judge

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government on Friday appointed the first judge for the Ehtesab court which would be established under the K-P Ehtesab Commission Act 2014. Chief Secretary Amjad Ali Khan issued the appointment order of Subhan Sher. Sher was elevated to the judgeship of the consumer court in Abbottabad by Peshawar High Court on November 22, 2014. He remained the registrar of PHC from November 28, 2011 to July 4, 2013. He has also served as the judge of accountability, anti-corruption and district courts and was the member of the inspection team of the high court.
