ISLAMABAD: Dubai-based real estate developer Emaar Thursday officially launched Canyon Views Islamabad -- a housing society projecting beautifully constructed, luxurious villas based on Mediterranean designs.

Ideally located next to DHA Phase II Extension along the Islamabad Expressway, the colony’s layout mirrors wholesome lifestyle experience complemented by services amenities and commercial buildings.

It is one of two major projects – Canyon Views Islamabad and Crescent Bay Karachi – Emaar is currently operating in Pakistan, said Emaar Pakistan Group CEO Nidal Turjman while addressing the launch ceremony.

Turjman said the layout follows that of a suburban community, with each village [block] having a separate gate, parks, and a community swimming pool. He said ample green spaces within the colony match with the overall natural leafy topography of Islamabad.

Emaar Pakistan Head of Sales and Marketing Uzair Adil said the community provides its customers with the option to choose from plots, mixed use commercial and apartment complexes, to the sale of three different types of villas. He said Canyon Views was an exclusive gated community designed with a wide variety of natural attractions and combining exceptional architecture and the finest leisure facilities.

Head of Customer Care Fahad Arif said two completed blocks had been handed over to alottees, while possession of two more blocks would be given soon.

Arif said Emaar had collaborated with DHA to introduce a new definition to affordable luxury, as Canyon Views Islamabad has the option of four, five and seven bedroom villas and two-to-three bedroom townhouses, with prices starting from Rs25 million.

Key features of the colony include a gated community, plenty of parks and open spaces, country living with close proximity to the city centre and airport, comfortable streetscapes, neighbourhood centre with swimming pool and children’s play area, proximity to the town centre that includes convenience shopping, restaurants, mosques, gymnasiums and schools.
