Sexual assault: MNA’s guard among two accused

FAISALABAD: Garh Maharaja police have filed a case against two people,one of them an MNA’s guard,for raping a schoolteacher. The suspects had also uploaded a video of the rape that had gone viral on social media. Sub Inspector Malik Amanullah, in-charge of the Mehmood Kot police post, Garh Maharaja police station, Jhang, told The Express Tribune that the victim said a police constable of Ahmad Pur Sial police station who has been performing duties as the official gunman of an MNA  and his accomplice had raped her. She said they had also made a video of the sexual assault and had tried to blackmail her. Police registered a case against the suspects. “No one has been arrested so far,” SI Amanullah said.
