“The sketch is about how people in Pakistan enjoy Conan’s late night talk show,” Nabhan Karim, the director of the video, told The Express Tribune.

“The video shows different people gathering at a local chai dhaba and watching Conan’s show on television. After watching the show, all of them start laughing, dancing and having a wonderful time,” Karim added.

According to Karim, Haroon met Conan in America and told him about how people in Pakistan enjoy his show. Conan was surprised after finding out he has quite a following in the country.

“When Saad came to Pakistan he made this video and then sent it to Conan through an acquaintance and last night almost 15 minutes before the show, he was told that the video was going to go on air,” Karim said.

The sketch, which stars Saad Haroon, has been directed by Nabhan Karim and shot by Muhammad Haseeb Halai.
