Confession: Teenage boy admits to murder

Following the arrests, the court ordered to submit the challan of the case.

A teenage boy confessed his guilt in the murder of a 45-year-old woman in court on Monday.

Four boys, namely Zubairuddin alias Nomi, Muhammad Alam, Salam and Zohaib, were presented in court for their alleged involvement in Feroza's killing. According to Zubairuddin, 14, he was brought up by the childless woman and the other three boys, his friends, visited their residence frequently.

On January 7, they gave her sleeping pills, strangled her and stole a laptop, cellphone, camera, gold jewellery and Rs250,000 in cash, he admitted to the court. The body was found on January 11.

The police traced them through the stolen cellphone and registered a case against them at the Pakistan Bazaar police station. Following the arrests, the court ordered to submit the challan of the case.
