HARIPUR: A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide in a remote village in Khanpur area, police said on Sunday. Police quoted Muhammad Miskeen, a resident of Kotla Makhniyal village, as saying his wife was sick and he had taken her to Khanpur Hospital, leaving his 17-year-old daughter Sobia at home. Upon returning, he found her hanging from the ceiling fan. Police started an investigation.
