KARACHI: Fashion Pakistan announced the schedule for Fashion Pakistan Week Spring/Summer 2015. The four-day premiere fashion event is scheduled to take place from March 31 to April 3. The Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week (TFPW15) promises to be bigger and better, with a host of designer heavyweights showcasing their collections, according to a press release.

While announcing the schedule, Sanam Chaudhri, chairperson of Fashion Pakistan Council, said, “We look forward to an even bigger and more successful event. With a strong team and multitude of talented designers on board, this will be an event to remember. ”

Fashion Pakistan CEO Wardha Saleem noted, “We are looking forward to this year’s Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week with a certain kind of fervour, which is to be experienced when you have such great partners and designers on board.” She added, “The Fashion Week is bound to take Karachi by storm with the great Pakistani fashion industry bringing its best to the table.”

Recently, Fashion Pakistan Council introduced new faces on the ramp, some of whom have emerged to the fore as credible names in the industry, such as Fahad Hussayn, Feeha Jamshed, Zaheer Abbas and Sania Maskatiya. Fashion Pakistan is also part of the Council of International Fashion Designers, which works towards educating, empowering and encouraging designers in the global market.

The council attempts to lend impetus to the budding fashion industry. The preceding event, Fashion Pakistan Week Autumn/Winter 2014, was a well-rounded affair that boasted myriad designs and silhouettes. The final list of designers showcasing at TFPW15 is yet to be revealed.
