Nabeel Gabol resignation: Polls in NA-246 Karachi on April 23

ISLAMABAD: In what will serve as pulse of electorates of the mega city, by-polls in NA-246 constituency in Karachi will be held on April 23. Nabeel Gabol, who was elected from the constituency on the ticket of MQM in the general elections, last week resigned from his seat, leaving it vacant. The Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday issued schedule for polls in the constituency. The process of election will start from March 13, with returning officer issuing a public notice. Contestants would be able to file their nominations from March 17 to 19 and scrutiny of the candidates would be held on March 19 and 20. On completion of all formalities, the final list of contestants will be displayed on April 2.
