KARACHI:

Police officials informed the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday that the suspects involved in the killing of Advocate Ali Husnain Shah Bukhari, a member of the legal aid committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, have been traced and will be arrested soon.

In an interim report presented to SHC Chief Justice Faisal Arab in his chamber, the police officials said that three suspects — Raheemullah, Yaseen and Abdul Aziz — were detained for interrogation, but were later released on personal bond as they seemed to have no concrete information.

"The suspects involved in the incident have been traced and will be arrested soon," the IO added.

Taking the interim report on record, CJ Faisal Arab directed the officials to submit a final report by the next date of hearing.

Meanwhile, the provincial government was asked to inform the court what could be done to compensate the victim's family.
