New Line has dated “Mean Moms” for May 8, 2015, a week after Disney opens “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” reported Variety.

Jennifer Aniston is in talks to star in “Mean Moms” with veteran TV director Beth McCarthy-Miller helming. Project was set up in 2010 with Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and Jill Messick producing for New Line.

“Mean Moms” and Paramount’s 2004 comedy “Mean Girls” are both adapted from advice books for parents penned by Rosalind Wiseman.

The writing team of Sean Anders and John Morris are rewriting “Mean Moms,” which will focus on a happily married mother of two who moves from small-town America to the high-class suburbs and faces the cutthroat world of competitive parenting.
