Conference: ‘Medicines should be sold at cheaper rates’

ISLAMABAD:

A three-day international conference on “Recent Innovation in Pharmaceutical Sciences” held at Riphah International University stressed over the need for pharmaceutical companies to produce cheap and quality medicines for the general public.

Dr Mansoor Kundi, executive director of the Higher Education Commission said pharmacy is playing a vital role in improving heath conditions.

Riphah International University VC Prof Anis Ahmad said “Only through research can we find solutions to various problems.”
