Technical training: TVET experts briefed in workshop

ISLAMABAD: The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission’s (NAVTTC) regional office in Karachi held a one-day workshop for 30 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) accreditation experts from Sindh and Balochistan. The workshop was headed by NAVTTC Executive Director Muhammad Imtiaz Tajwar. The official stressed the need for accelerating the accreditation process of maximum TVET institutes from the public and private sector all over the country so that quality skilled manpower can be ensured in the domestic and overseas labour markets. NAVTTC Director General Syeda Adila Bokhari informed the house that Kuwait, under the Doha Declaration, has started accepting candidates from only accredited TVET Institutions in Pakistan.
