Hollywood hotshot performer and pop star Ed Sheeran, got the pleasure of being the special guest at the event.
It was a spontaneous decision on Farah’s part to take Ed to Abhishek's home as there was already a party happening there. Bachchans’ residence was the party destination for many Bollywood stars as they attended a special bash hosted by the junior Bachchans in honour of the newlyweds – Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan.

When Farah was asked about this, she said, "Not only did Ed hit it off with Abhishek, but before I left, they both also decided that Ed would act in Happy New Year 2."
The grand party was yet again a private affair and was attended by Aamir Khan and his wife, Hrithik Roshan, Gauri Khan, Imran Khan and Riteish Deshmukh with wife, actress Genelia D’Souza among others.
