Curbing terrorism: Ghotki police arrest alleged terrorist

The officer said there is no criminal record against the arrested man

SUKKUR: The Ghotki police claimed to have arrested an alleged member of a banned outfit from Muslim Colony, Daharki, on Thursday along with ‘objectionable’ literature and audio cassettes from his possession, Ghotki SSP Abrar Hussain told the media at his office in Mirpur Mathelo. Muhammad Saeed Rajput was arrested during a raid on the house of Abdul Qadir Dayo. According to him, the man was a resident of Okara, Punjab, and had been working as a mechanic in Daharki for the last eight years. The officer said there is no criminal record against the arrested man. Dayo was not present at the time of the raid.
