SECP: Deadlines extended

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has extended the Companies Regularisation Scheme (CRS) and Companies Easy Exit Scheme (CEES) to December 31.

Companies have been encouraged to take advantage of the schemes within the extended time period by either regularising through the filing of overdue returns under the CRS or striking their companies off the register under the CEES.

However, they were extended to October 31 and then to November 30. Upon receipt of requests of further extension, the SECP has extended the schemes for another month.
