Hangu abductions: Kidnapped teacher returns home
The Shia teacher was picked up on October 12, 2014 by armed men dressed in uniform
HANGU:
A government schoolteacher who was kidnapped four months ago returned to his house in Ganjyano Kalay, Hangu on Wednesday. A Hangu policeman said the schoolteacher was set free by the kidnappers after a period of four months. However, he added, the three others picked up with him were released hours after they were taken. The Shia teacher was picked up on October 12, 2014 by armed men dressed in uniform worn by security forces. Three other men identified as Riaz, Qasim and Ismail Khan were also picked up. All four were taken from outside their houses in Ganjyano Kalay to an undisclosed location. The men in uniform were later discovered to be kidnappers, not members of the security forces.
