Heinous crime: Three-year old child assaulted in Bannu

BANNU: A three-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man in Sokari Hafizan area of Bannu Cantonment on Monday. The father of the victim reported the crime to the police and the suspect was arrested. The accused has also confessed to his crime. Nasim Khan told the Cantonment Police that he came to attend a ceremony at the house of his relatives. His son was playing with other children, but after some time the child disappeared. After a hectic search the boy was found unconscious from a corner in the house. Nasim said that upon seeing blood on his child’s clothes he informed the police and named the suspect. Police took the victim to the hospital where doctors confirmed the sexual assault.
