RAWALPINDI:
The Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA) has issued a notice to the Rawalpindi Solid Waste Management Company (SWMC) for dumping garbage near the Sowan River.
Pak-EPA District Officer Mian Nawaz on Monday said the dumping caused a blockage of water, adding that SWMC has been directed to clear the area and dispose of the trash at a landfill site at Losar.
