Nick of time: Bomb defused on Kohat-Hangu Road

The bomb weighed 10kgs and was packed with ball bearings and explosives

KOHAT:


Police foiled a major terrorism bid and defused a bomb planted by unidentified militants on Kohat-Hangu Road on Saturday night. An official of the Kohat police said they received an intelligence report and rushed to the site along with BDU officials. He added the road was blocked for traffic while BDU personnel defused the bomb. According to the BDU, the bomb weighed 10kgs and was packed with ball bearings and explosives.
