Kohli is 'too metrosexual': Salman Khan

Actor brushes off suggestions of resemblance with the Indian cricketer

DUBAI: Bollywood megastar Salman Khan clean bowled everyone when he disclosed that he finds cricketer Virat Kohli to be “too metrosexual”.

He was in Dubai for a store launch of PNG Jewellers, where reporters had a one-on-one with him in the press conference.

When discussions were on about the ongoing World Cup 2015 matches, Salman was told that he is often compared to Virat Kohli as both of them are good looking and have a temperamental nature. To this he said, “I don’t think I am like Virat Kohli. He is too metrosexual. I am not,” as quoted by Emirates 24/7.

He playfully drifted from the topic and started talking about his personal life goals. When asked about his wedding plans, the usually reclusive actor, didn't evade the question and said: "I always get so close to a wedding. God has been very kind. You can ask most married men and they will tell you what I mean."

"But one day my luck will run out. I hope it runs out soon. But more than marriage, having children is on my list. If I can figure out how to have those without marriage...," he said.

Salman, who admitted he only ever wears his trademark turquoise and white gold bracelet, said in future any jewellery that he wears in his films will come from the brand he endorses, which includes the upcoming 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' opposite Sonam Kapoor.

He soon will also be seen romancing Kareena Kapoor in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.

‘Azharuddin my favourite cricketer’

As it is the season of cricket, reporters also asked Salman to name his favourite cricketer. To this Salman joked, "Cricket, wait, there are 11 players right?”. He then added in a quip, "My favourite player is Mohammed Azharuddin. He is Sangeeta Bijalani's husband, no....former husband. Anyone who knows who she is knows my choice is not a diplomatic one."

Bijalani was once engaged to Salman, before the wedding was called off weeks before the big day.
