Pakistani film actress Sara Loren says she has refused roles in Tamil and Bhojpuri movies to focus on her Hindi film Ishq Click which also stars Adhyayan Suman – better known as Indian TV personality Shekhar Suman’s son and Bollywood 'Queen' Kangna Ranaut’s ex-boyfriend.

Loren, who is currently in Mumbai, spoke with Roznama Express over phone. She revealed that two film production houses approached her but she said ‘no’ to them after hearing the scripts. “I look for substance and don’t sign a film till I am sure the script as well as my character will have a strong impact on the audience,” she said.

Recently there were reports that her Ishq Click co-star Adhyayan Suman had proposed to her. Commenting on this she explained, “The news spread like wild fire so much so that I had to clarify it was just a scene we were shooting for the film.” She did however say Adhyayan is a fantastic actor and that she had a great time working with him.

Loren also said that a leading production house making Hindi films has offered her an important role which she is likely to accept.

The 28-year-old, who appeared in TV serials like Rabiya Zinda Rahegi and Main Mar Gayee Shaukat Ali, was selected by the Bhatt father-daughter duo to appear in their 2010 film Kajraare alongside singer turned actor Himesh Reshammiya. The movie was shown in only two theatres in Mumbai and never garnered much attention this side of the border either.

In a 2012 interview, when asked whether she was fearful she would soon start looking older for an industry that is all about superficial beauty she had said,“I think I look like I’m 18 or 19. And I don’t think the industry is that superficial anymore, either. Today people look at the quality of your work. Look at Vidya Balan, or Katrina Kaif — they’re probably near 30 and they’re ruling the Indian film industry. Kareena Kapoor is probably around 35 and she is at the peak of her career. I don’t think much about being 25. I feel 19, and I look 19.”
