Pak-China project: ‘Economic corridor to bring prosperity’

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said on Friday that the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor would bring progress and prosperity for the people of all the provinces. In a TV interview, he said that China was investing a huge amount in different sectors of Pakistan to facilitate the people. He added that Central Asian states and other countries would have access to warm waters for increasing business activity in this area. He said that transmission lines and railway sector were being improved so that industrial zones could be established in a proper manner. To a question, he said the economic corridor will connect the roads of Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa and Punjab.
