On a tip-off, a police party intercepted a timber truck (BU-2888) at Chirah Chowk and arrested Tahir Mehmood and Tariq Mehmood. During interrogation, they could not provide documentation showing the wood was legally felled.
A case has been registered against them and investigation was under way.
