KARACHI:

The ruling Pakistan Peoples Party believes that the long march initiated by the Shuhada Committee against the Shikarpur bomb blast is not justified. “I am a witness to the fact that their issues were addressed by the government,” said Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, during the session on Monday. The mastermind of the blast has been killed, he claimed, adding that the long march was not justified. Senior minister Nisar Khuhro pointed out that the victim’s families have been given compensation cheques. “The Sindh government is ready to talk to the participants.” He said that terrorism was not limited to Sindh or the country. “It is an issue across the world.”
