A question for Mr Sarkozy

WYCOMBE: I have a simple question to the people of France and their president, Nicolas Sarkozy: would you stop women from wearing a bikini on the streets of Paris or on the beach? If not, how can you dictate what a Muslim woman can or cannot wear?

The last time I checked people had the right to dress the way they wanted — and that too in a country that prides itself as being among the founders of democracy.
