Chief justice admitted to hospital over cardiac pain

Angiography tests were conducted, the result of which came clear

PESHAWAR: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Nasirul Mulk was admitted to Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) following cardiac pain on Monday, sources told The Express Tribune.

The chief justice was admitted to RMI where his angiography tests were conducted, and the test results were clear, added the sources.

“He has been admitted; we’re not sure about the time period he will stay here,” sources said.

Justice Mulk arrived at the Supreme of Court of Pakistan’s registry in the provincial capital to hear cases on Monday.

Further, oath taking ceremony of Justice Maqbool Baqir, who has been elevated to the Supreme Court from the Sindh High Court, will be held on Tuesday.
