Shikarpur blast: All shutters down in Sindh

Families and relatives of the victims of the Shikarpur imambargah blast have launched a protest.

KARACHI: A shutter-down strike will be observed in rural Sindh on Friday (today). Families and relatives of the victims of the Shikarpur imambargah blast have launched a protest to express their anguish over the government’s failure at providing them justice. Relatives of the victims started the Warisan-e-Shohada-e-Shikarpur Committee and announced a long march from Shikarpur on Sunday. Allama Maqsoo Ali Domki, the committee’s chairperson said that the protesters will reach Karachi by road the next day and go to Chief Minister House. Religious and political parties, including the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also announced their support for the protest.
