Allege roll in rigging: IHC repatriates deputationist judge
IHC Registrar Raja Jawad Abbas confirmed that the judge has been repatriated to Punjab.
ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has repatriated a district and sessions judge from Islamabad to Punjab due to allegations that he was involved in rigging in the May 2013 elections. Judge Nazir Ahmed Ganjana, was hearing a defamation case filed by former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan. He had been assigned to the Islamabad District and Sessions court on deputation. IHC Registrar Raja Jawad Abbas confirmed that the judge has been repatriated to Punjab.
