Pakistan’s first explosive-handling school opens in K-P

NOWSHERA: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has established the country’s first explosive-handling school to train bomb disposal squads (BDS), Express News reported.

K-P Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak inaugurated the school. K-P IG Nasir Durrani gave the chief minister a tour of the facility, while BDS personnel performed a demonstration of finding explosive material buried underground.

Addressing the media on the occasion, IG Nasir Durrani said that BDS personnel will be trained to international standards at the facility, adding that in the first phase, a 500-man unit will acquire expertise in finding explosive material hidden underground and in various objects.

    Can you believe this? 20 years plus in governance PMLN and despite that it took PTI(r2nd year in rule only in KPK) have created this school? What a shame and slap on the PMLN goons who bash PTI unnecessarily, I was a PMLN supporter but after this, I would like to be the voter of a honest person, Imran Khan please take this nation and it’s nashukar citizens ahead and give a befitting reply to your critics.     Quite Shocked that it took 60+ years to start this school when already we’re at war with terrorists, PTI I am really proud of you, something other parties need to follow.     As foregin pakistani I salute KPK government expecially Imran Khan for his love for the nation Pakistan. His hard work and his effecorts to help people of pakistan is been seing now.     What do you mean by “first explosive-handling school” ?

    Pakistan has had such schools for decades, where handling and use is taught by government experts.

    Countries like Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Egypt regularly send their students to such Pakistani schools… this is the main problem, the way some people try to downplay Pakistan’s achievements and expertise in such matters.Recommend

    That’s a great step by KP goverment and it should be copied by other goverments as this is needed there as well. Today i’m a proud supporter of PTI and i’m happy to see dat others are realising it to that imran khan can bring change to this country. Recommend
