Eight fire brigades took several hours to bring the fire under control

KARACHI: A blaze erupted at the Commerce Centre building at Karachi's II Chandigarh Road on Monday, with at least eight fire brigades in efforts to bring it under control and five trapped on the fifth floor, Express News reported. 

Initial reports have stated that the fire ignited due to a short circuit in the electricity metre.



Witnesses have said that the fire started on the first floor of the building and there are five persons trapped on the fifth floor. Rescue workers are in efforts to evacuate them from the building.

No injuries however have been reported but as many as eight fire brigades arrived at the scene and after several hours have managed to extinguish the blaze.

Do you have any proof ?? next time bring some facts before making baseless allegations against MQM!!.... Members of lyari gang war and anp are also collecting extortion money from different parts of the city!! But everyone blames MQM just because it represents urdu speaking people.
