PESHAWAR: Two labourers were injured in a blast when they tried to dislodge a hand grenade buried in the ground on Sunday afternoon in Mohalla Landay Kanday, Sufaid Dheri. The Pishtakhara police said Hanif and Hamza were digging when they saw a hand grenade buried in the ground. When the men tried to pull it out, it exploded. The victims were taken to Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) where their condition was said to be stable. “It’s a mishap and not a terrorism or bomb attack,” an official of the local police told The Express Tribune.
