At least 62 men were killed while more than 50 were injured when a powerful bomb tore through the crowded imambargah near Lakhidar Chowk during Friday prayers last week.
Nisar refused to further divulge details about the investigation into the attack due to the sensitivity of the issue.
He, however, emphasized that the state machinery was working round the clock in collaboration with provincial governments to probe the attack.
Speaking about the Peshawar school attack which claimed lives of over 100 students, Nisar said both Pakistan and Afghanistan were working together to bring the perpetrators to justice.
“Coordination between the two neighbours has been great; better than before,” the interior minister said, adding that the nation will not forget these terror incidents.
“I want to assure the families of the victims that we cannot forget and we will never forget,” Nisar said.
The interior minister added that the entire nation, politicians and armed forces were united to put an end to terrorism in Pakistan.
