Gang Rape Case: Three policemen arrested in Nasirabad

QUETTA: Three police officials have been dismissed and put behind bars on allegations of raping a woman in custody in Nutal area of Nasirabad district. A nomad woman had approached the authorities that Hawaldar Mohammad Yousuf and Constables Asghar Ali and Ghulam Abbas had abducted and raped her and later locked her up in the Nutal police station. DIG Nasirabad Qamarul Hassan had ordered an inquiry after the family of the nomad woman lodged complaint against the trio. The police had earlier registered a case of illegal confinement and investigating why a woman was detained at the said police station. However, later it was found that she was gang raped in a different place before being brought to Nutal police station. The police officials have been locked up at Saddar police station after the registration of cases.
