PESHAWAR:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s organising committee in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) announced the youth wing chief organiser and deputy organiser on Thursday.

Iqbal Afridi, who headed the organising committee, made this announcement at Peshawar Press Club. He introduced Shahid Bangash and Sajjad Mohmand as the youth wing chief organiser and deputy organizer, respectively.

“The chief and deputy organisers will work together with all the stakeholders in Fata and will unite the youth under one platform,” said Afridi. “They will finalise the youth wing within three months.” He added.

“All youth wings currently operational in the tribal areas stand dissolved and I request all of them to help the organisers build the PTI youth wing in Fata.”

Bangash vowed he will take every politically active young person in Fata on board before making decisions. “We will hold meetings with all activists in order to organise the youth wing.”
