PESHAWAR:

The enraged parents of the martyred children of Army Public School (APS) announced on Wednesday that they will take out a protest rally in Peshawar on Saturday.

They said the 48-hour deadline given to the government to make public the inquiry report of the December 16 massacre has expired. Addressing a news conference they criticised the federal and provincial governments for not contacting them in these 48 hours.

“We do not need compensation packages of governments, we need justice and demand inquiry report of the killing of our children,” Ajun Khan, a member of Peshawar Shuhda Forum said. The forum members appealed to the nation to join them in the rally which will start from Amman Chowk and end at APS.

Separately, KP-Information and Higher Education Minister Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani told the media that 60% of the APS incident inquiry has been completed, but it is confidential and cannot be made public at this stage.
