The police claimed to have arrested a Chinese national in connection with attempting a driving test for his fellow national at the Islamabad Traffic Police’s (ITP) headquarters in Sector F-8/1.
According to the police, Lizhang Zhang was attempting the driving test instead of the real candidate, Wang Chang, and they were held on charges of cheating and dishonestly inducing officials.
The police also arrested another man, identified as Shakeel Ahmed, who was along with them at the time of the test.
A case (77/2015) under sections 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and 34 (common intention) has been registered on the complaint of ASI Khalid Mehmood at the Margalla Police Station.
Mehmood said that the two men, who appeared to be in their 20s, had come together and tried to hoodwink the police, but were caught when an official noticed differences in the appearance of the applicant and the photo attached to his form.
“Zhang took off his glasses and claimed he was Chang, saying he might look different because of the eyewear,” said Mehmood. The test was very difficult that is why we did this, the Chinese allegedly confessed to ITP officials later when their bluff was called.
Mehmood said they were trying to take advantage of their common features. He said both men lacked older licences. Separately, another Chinese national, Liuy Ying, has lodged a complaint at the Shalimar Police Station saying three unidentified men riding a motorcycle intercepted him in Sector F-10/3 and deprived him of a laptop and Rs50,000.

What is your problem? It's a matter between two friends; we will sort it out among ourselves with discipline, unity, honour and whatever.
Something fishy. Entire narrative does not sound true. This is not the way to treat citizens of a so called friendly country.
These two literally believed in the myth that all Chinese look the same.
Thanks to teh internets, they all don't look alike anymore.
