The batting legend hinted that India will have a an advantage over Pakistan having spent so much time in Australia in recent months.
"Adjustment is always key and Indian team will enjoy the advantage. But I can tell you one thing: reverse swing won't be a factor with two new balls from both ends," said Inzy.
"I think Indo-Pak match at start will be crucial. A final before final. But I don't mind losing to India if Pakistan win World Cup," he added.
Further Inzy reiterated his support for Dhoni by saying that the Indian team will do well because it is under his captaincy.
"I believe having Dhoni as a leader is a big factor for the Indian team. An experienced captain in a big-ticket event is always a plus. Dhoni is one player who has performed for India in pressure situations and scripted innumerable comebacks for the team. Having a leader who knows how to handle pressure makes Dhoni cut above rest," he said.
"Let me tell you a story. In 1992, we went to Australia a month before World Cup. Not many know that we played six warm-up games prior to the World Cup and lost all six. [And] We went on to win the World Cup," the former captain said as a concluding note.

Not too long ago we were always worried about Pakistan batting before the start of a tournament. But this year we don't even have a bowling attack as good as India. This team is pathetic.
All the top 3 Asian teams are simply crap at the moment. Pakistan and Srilanka both are downright pathetic and would bow out in the first round. As for India, if Kohli clicks than India might just go on to play the quaters otherwise it's going to be curtains for them as well.
But the problem is that if Pakistan cannot beat a team like India, how can one expect it to snatch the worldcup from tough teams like AUS, SA, NZ and Eng.
Someone sensible.
It's good thing. First time I am seeing a pakistani saying words focused on itself rather than a shallow aim and mindset of beating india. That's how it should be. Beating a specific oponent doesnt matter, it's the glory of winning the world cup for nation that should ultimately matter and be our sole goal.
In sha ALLAH we will WIN. India Ho Ya WORLD CUP both are achievable task.
@wb - I'm not aware of the Pakistani team, but it does look mediocre (am used to watching Akram, Younis, IK, Miandad and these guys are nowhere close). We're downright pathetic. A bunch of mediocres playing another bunch of mediocres in the India-Pak match...
@wb: Rather worry about our team! What about are our bowlers? Probably for the first time India has a better bowling attack than Pakistan's!!!!!! That's how hopelessly weak we are this time aroun!!! I am not even going to comment on the batting...........................................
Yes you and the likes of losers like you have never minded losing against India in all World Cup matches yet couldn't win the cup.
Formula for winning World Cup game: Pakistan players must pray and do fasting at least 10 days before the game.
Now that's called pragmatic thinking.. Need more of that, rather than the emotionalism that bedevils and encounter or relations between the 2 countries.
Same result, different venues.. story of Pak Ind WC Clashes.
This is the worst Pak playing XI ever participated in WC.. period
It is because of religion being brought into the dressing room by people like Inzamam that Pakistan will most likely lose to India and also the World Cup.
