Khan is seemingly taking over Bollywood after his debut with Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat, and with female fans on both sides of the border drooling over him.
According to reports, the film also stars Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s beau Anushka Sharma.
According to KJo, the film has an ‘unconventional love story.’
"It's a film that dwells deeply on relationships, heartbreaks and how love completes you, defines you and yet leaves you wanting for more. I have never had, in my entire career, a film that has come to me so fast, so organically and so from within," Karan said.
The film is expected to be shot in New York, Paris and New Delhi and is slated for a June 3, 2016 release.

@Sneha: NY has plenty of your kind in its slums and it is they who would perhaps spend time after sleeping in those dirty overcrowded rooms. Rest assured the real NewYorker has not stooped so low to watch your silly movies.
aish is hit actress not flop so plzzz not comment like that i thing ur fav actr flop ..
ash is a flop actress. fawad will play fourth fiddle to ranbir, anushka and ashwariya and everyone will be happy to see a pakistani playing a 4th fiddle to indians.
@anotherNYer: My friend, Desi’s are Desi’s wherever they are, I myself might ignore a celebrity (with the exception Katrina & Kareena ) just because some of the Bollywood stars have too much attitude. NYer Desi’s are not made of Unique material, they are just more in debt.
Great,‘beauty’ is only used for men, not women.
@Iron: LOL, you have no clue about NY or NYers. We see celebrities all the time... in WV/UES/UWS, in the subways, while grocery shopping... NYers are the least enamored with celebrities. Visiting and living in NY are totally different things
@NYer: I've been to NYC more than 5 times (work/pleasure), and I can say that for sure that people will go crazy to see the celebrities. Almost all cabbies in NYC are Desi, and good number of professionals are also spice lovers.
@NyeR typical pakistani troll. The story is about Indian American. And when foriegn countries shoot in different countries be homeland series, pearl harbour, namaste London etc it's not so because they want the city to like them. It's because it's essential part of the plot.
Great, another stupid Indian movie will shut down parts of NY! If you want us NYers to like you, just stay away from our city and stop making life difficult for us!
