PESHAWAR: Three children lost their lives when the roof of a madrassah collapsed Tuesday afternoon, Express News reported.

As the roof collapsed, the children studying at the madrassah fell into a gutter nearby.

Ten children were rescued, while three others were killed in the tragic incident.

Last month in Lahore, a marriage hall’s roof collapsed right in the middle of a ceremony, claiming as many as seven lives, including the bride, and causing injuries to 20 other people.

Similarly, at least six people died, while several others were injured when the roofs of two houses collapsed in different districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkha, last year in November.

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
