Theft: 4 suspects held
Four motorcycle lifters tried taking Abdul Qader Dahar’s motorcycle at gunpoint on Shikarpur Indus Highway when the Karan police arrived. The gang opened fire at the police, injuring a pedestrian, Mumtaz Begum Issani.
The police arrested Zaqaullah Brohi and Muhammad Bux Brohi and recovered two Kalashnikovs and the stolen motorcycle from them.
The injured and the culprits were taken to Civil Hospital, Shikarpur. Separately, the Shikarpur district police arrested two dacoits and recovered two Kalashnikovs from them.
