KARACHI:

The All Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Export, Import and Merchant Association (PFVA) has appreciated the role of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman and member customs for an immediate implementation of the notification on the WeBOC system that had been pending since 2010.

PFVA representatives, who met FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa on Tuesday, said he assured them that all outstanding issues of the association would be resolved.

According to a statement released by PFVA, the WeBOC (DTRE module) will be changed immediately according to the 5% random examination, as instructions have already been passed to the director risk management unit at the Customs House in Karachi.

National Tax Numbers (NTN) of all exporters holding DTRE approvals have already been provided to the FBR for changes in the WeBOC module.
