The first civil judge of Malir district, conducting a jail trial on Monday, supplied copies of the statements and charge-sheets to the accused. Shahrukh Jatoi was sentenced to death by an anti-terrorism court in June 2013 in the Shahzeb Khan murder case.
Shahrukh's brother Nawab Ali Jatoi, Sikandar Ali Jatoi group of companies director Muhammad Khurram, Pakistan International Airlines employees Mahmood Sultan and Wasi Akhtar, who are also known to be protocol officers for Bilawal House, Gerry's Dnata agents Taha Hussain and Syed Salman Shah and Fazl-e-Rabbi Private Limited tour operators Suhail Ahmed, Umer Dochki and Abu Bakar Dochki have also been booked. They are accused of abetting and facilitating Shahrukh in flying abroad without fulfilling legal formalities.
According to the prosecution, Shahrukh had flown to Dubai on December 27, 2012 — three days after killing Khan — as per the Dubai immigration entry stamp on his passport. However, no exit stamp by the Pakistani immigration at Jinnah International Airport was found on his passport. The prosecution stated that this confirmed that the accused had left the country fraudulently with the help of some officials, including the Federal Investigation Agency's immigration staff working at the airport. The FIR said that Shahrukh did not receive proper clearance from immigration.
Moreover, the passengers' manifest of Emirates flight EK-605, which left Karachi at 5:40am on the given date, did not list Shahrukh as one of the passengers. The FIR added that Shahrukh must have travelled to Dubai using a boarding pass in someone else's name.

Lets hope justice is done........and we don't again witness a charade being played out to look like justice is being done.
Let's see if the Government has the muscles to bring him back to Pakistan and refer the case to Military Courts so he could be prosecuted.
@khanzada: Never! This is Pakistan, the rich never get hanged.
So you booked everyone except the FIA immigration staff and the airport people who were supposed to ask for and stamp the passport? When we the common citizens of Pakistan travel, we're asked to stand in lines, look at the camera, explain where we're going and why....a mini interrogation. As always, the real culprits go scot free.
So when is he going to be hanged??????????
Good job. Shahzeb Khan might not come back, but at least by punishing his killer, it will send a strong signal to all those rich spoiled brats who think playing with lives is a game.
