Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah said members of his party, the Pakistan Peoples Party, have been killed in large numbers during the operation, to which MQM lawmakers rose from their seats in protest.
The MQM MPAs were further enraged when the chief minister termed their party’s protest outside the Chief Minister House in September last year an ‘attack.’ Rangers raided an MQM office on Abul Hassan Ispahani road and detained dozens of workers leading the party to protest outside the CM House.
Chanting slogans against the chief minister, led by MQM MPA Khawaja Izahrul Hasan, the lawmakers refused to settle down despite attempts by PPP’s Sharjeel Memon and Sharmila Faruqi.
Refusing to hear Shah’s claims, the MQM MPAs staged a walkout as Sindh Assembly speaker Agha Siraj Durrani looked on.
Registering his protest against the provincial chief minister terming their protest an “attack,” MQM deputy parliamentary leader Faisal Sabzwari angrily questioned, “We only brought bodies of our innocent workers to protest. Can we not even protest outside your palace?”
Sabzwari alleged the police is killing innocent people on Shah’s orders. “Our worker was murdered as a result of police brutality,” he added.
He challenged Shah to register an FIR against MQM lawmakers for attacking his residence.
“Register an FIR against us if you think we attacked your house – If you don’t then it will prove either your statement is false like your previous claims or that this government is incompetent and can’t register an FIR.”
Meanwhile, the Sindh Assembly has adopted a resolution against staging sit-ins.
The resolution was tabled by PPP Khairunnisa Mughal.

PPP gov is incompetent to run gov in sindh
Even the PPO doesn't grant LEA to kill an inncoent human being, yet the Lame CM isn't even moved by it, and if you stage a peaceful protest, then its a attack on CM House. This Lame CM is a attack on democracy and Human Rights.
Above two comments (F Khan and Anonymous) by same person using different ids.. saying same thing :) Well done MQM to walk out!
This game will never be over until and unless involvement of third political force.
MQM is a party with a very big nose and PPP has a very big mouth. So this cat and rat game will continue unless there is third political force also in the province who can threat their ego game.
