On the occasion of India’s republic day, sweets were exchanged in at least three spots along the LoC, including Kaman Post in Uri sector on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad Road, Teetwal in Tangdhar sector and Chakan-da-Bagh in Poonch Sector.
Despite the tension along the border, the exchange of sweets between troops stationed along the line of control on their days of national important has become a regular feature.

the picture above is not that of LoC, it's most probably somewhere along international working boundary in Punjab where both countries have posted border security forces. On LoC, it's the regular armies facing off each other.
What is this? I am not able believe it. Normally both we will exchange Fire only. I think , we can settle all disputes smoothly and open all Boarder check-post freely to move both Country people if Pak Army's Mind should change. Pak Politicians are already given their wishes.

@Shahg: You sound like no one was killed on the other side? In the recent skirmish the first one who died was a BSF guy and then rest on your side were claimed.
But it does not matter who dies but precious lives were lost on both sides but it clearly shows who instigates first.
